WHY CHOOSE CRS?As CRS is a camp run by passionate teens, we understand the importance of exploring creativity during our youths. Here, we encourage free thought and exploration of different techniques instead of drills, equipping students with the technical skills necessary to bring their own creative ideas to life.
WHEN IS CRS? CRS takes place from August 2nd to August 6th of 2021. On Monday through Friday, the classes are from 8:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. On Friday, the final day, students and parents visit at 12:00 p.m. for a gallery walk to view all of the artworks. The deadline to sign up for CRS is June 30th, 2020.
WHO RUNS CRS? CRS was started by three high school students who all have a passion for art. The founders, Reilly Brady, Katherine Chui, and Sarah Feng, were on a field trip for their school when they had the idea. For weeks the three friends excitedly discussed their plans for an art summer camp. At CRS, the three of them not only teach lessons in watercolors, acrylics, and charcoals, but also lead exciting workshops and activities, such as glass painting, book making, and slime color mixing.
HOW MUCH DOES CRS COST? CRS costs $175 per child, payable through cash and Venmo.
WHO CAN GO TO CRS? Students in grades 2 and up can participate. Students should have an interest for art and learning techniques with different art materials. 12 slots are available. Please make sure your child can attend the full duration of the camp before signing up.
